I’ve seen this quite a few times. Have these people considered that these people draw animals for fun and not because they have a fetish for/want to be an animal?

I draw animals all the time and I use a cat as my persona, but does that mean I like bestiality and yiff and want to be a cat? No, absolutely not, in fact I really dislike any sort of animal fetish material and I avoid it like the plague. Animals are just more fun and interesting to draw than other things, that’s all there is to it, and this goes for the many talented animal artists around DA.
